Sometimes, beauty ain’t pretty.

As a creative, I’m not content merely to capture the trendy, the pre-fab, or the flash-in the pan. I prefer to scope out the iconoclasts and eccentrics, the oddballs and overlooked.  

Humans are the most interesting things in the Universe, and they’ll be my primary focus until something more awesome comes along.

I believe that every person on Earth shares common ground with one another. Even the Dalai Lama stubs his toe. Even Tom Hanks has locked his keys in his car.

I’m the kind of guy with whom you’ll look forward to spending a full workday.

Apple fritters are easily the tastiest member of the Family Donut. I’ll meet you at Bob’s on 3rd & Fairfax anytime.

If you’re on this page, you’re likely every bit as driven as I am to create visuals that leave an impression on the viewer. Our high-bandwidth society throws an absurd amount of images at us, but inspiration will always cut through mediocrity like a hot knife through butter. 

A great image – one that speaks to us with a voice louder than the sum of its dots on a page or its pixels on a screen – can take a moment of time, put four walls around it, and tell a story from that frame alone.

A good photograph feels real. A great photograph feels more real than real.
